Good rainy morning! We are having a cold front today so it will be chilly, but nothing like the Arctic weather we expect for the weekend. I guess this could be called the appetizer.
My daughter’s electricity (in TN) is already off due to someone hitting a light pole. She is at work, but her husband called and said he made coffee on their grill. Thank the Lord for grills and all other substitutes when the power goes out. Hopefully, it will be restored quickly. Another thing to thank the Lord for–those who restore and bring us electricity.
I am just beginning to understand how Paul can call us to pray continually. What a wonderful gift prayer is!
Yes, prayer is a wonderful gift. I woke up at 5 a.m. asking God to help me find my little power boxes that store power to use to charge phones when the power goes out. It had been a long time since I had needed them. It was amazing that I found both! Only God! But one is older and may not support the new phones/cords.
I have not seen Pumpkin any during the last two days. I am being hopeful someone has taken her in. I don’t want to worry thinking she is freezing out in the storm.
I awakened to 11 texts dinging on my phone. Older sister looking into reverse mortgage on Mom’s home. Little sister wants to keep Mom in home but her funds are quickly disappearing having caregivers coming in. It’s all kind of stressful being this far away but I am in contact with little sister and I talk to Mom three days a week(she doesn’t remember those but we do have delightful talks!)
