Good cold morning. It’s 29° and will be even colder tomorrow morning.
Pumpkin came by for some chicken and egg this morning. I do not know where it stays in the cold overnight. Of course it is hard to bear not knowing, but best for it to keep to its feral life.
Do people prefer sweatshirts or sweaters in this cold weather? I have on a sweatshirt son gave me last year for Christmas. I wore a heavy coat over it when I went outside earlier.
Morning! A nip in the air but will be in the fifties this afternoon. The neighbors are getting a new roof put on their home and there are a bazillion cars out on the road…thus a bazillion workers on their roof!
Janice I prefer sweaters…I believe I have only one sweatshirt which is oversized and I wear it to sleep in!

Somehow, on my phone, this thread is considered Page 1, and the rest of today’s threads are considered to be Page 2. It has never done this to me best I can remember. I had to turn my phone sideways to have width to see the sidebar to find this thread.
I usually try to dress in layers. The layers may be a tee shirt underneath an open flannel shirt, for example. I may do a lighter shirt under and open sweatshirt. I do wear some hoodies, but they are usually too warm inside for me. Assisted living facilities can be too warm for me. Dressing to be warm enough in certain places and yet, not roasting in other places is a challenge.
I wear sweaters. The kind that I have been wearing for years is a cable knit style, and they go down to about mid-thigh. With my house hard to heat, I also wear a warm top underneath in the winter, but lighter tops in the chilly but not too cold months of fall and early spring.
