But most of you don’t know the backstory— which is EXACTLY what the Democrats intended.
The original photo has been floating around for years. It is NOT new. However, Democrats put arbitrary censors over the faces of 20+ year old women to make the public believe they were minors and victims.
Total BS.
These were models representing the well-known American suntan lotion brand Hawaiian Tropic at a Mar-a-Lago event.
One of the women, who was 22 at the time the photo was taken, told The Telegraph today that Donald Trump was a “gentleman” and “went out of his way” to ensure their entire group enjoyed their time at Mar-a-Lago.
“I was 22 years old and remember him being very nice. He was very gentlemanly, that’s the word to describe him,” she said.
Not a SINGLE ONE of them accused Trump of wrongdoing.
It’s absolutely freaking shameful how Democrats have decided to discard ACTUAL victims of Jeffrey Epstein in an attempt to falsely smear President Trump.”
The US GAO estimates the federal gov’t spends over a trillion dollars on welfare and yet some guy on X claims $500 billion in fraud yearly. At first I thought that’s a lot of money on welfare — are Americans really that poor, but that I discovered the GAO includes Medicare and Medicaid as welfare, as well as SSI, WIC, TANF, food stamps, etc. And thus any claim of welfare fraud actually includes medicare fraud which is mostly corporate fraud.
A quick search tells me that in 2023, over 236$ billion in improper payments were reported – most of this was fraud by medicare and pandemic programs. Thus, the 500 billion number is patently ridiculous. And the fraud that occurs is mostly in medicare by corporations. But sure blame immigrants.
Still the 236 billion number is far too high — instead of pursuing Somalis through the streets of Minneapolis, the feds need to send accountants into health care companies.
The numbers posted from X don’t make sense; click bait to induce rage and use migrants as scapegoats to distract from the real corporate crime
Housing prices are down everywhere in North America including Canada and we aren’t deporting anyone.
The simple facts are demographics and finances. There are fewer people in their early thirties hence fewer people in the housing market. And the young couples who are interested in buying a house refuse to pay the prices listed hence the market is stagnating. Prices in the Toronto area are down 5% this year. Although people think there might be some recovery in the spring, it’s doubtful. At the most, private equity funds (eg Blackrock) may jump in if they think the market has hit bottom.
Many people are turning their suburban homes into duplexes with their married children living in the basement or the parents taking the basement apartment while the kids with grandchildren take the main floor.
In the long term, this may be harmful to the North American economy as its reliant on the FIRE sector (finance, insurance, real estate) for any economic growth. As the prices decline, the economy will decline. North American is then caught in a bind — shelter costs are too high but if it falls so does the economy.
I imagine New Year’s Eve in Paris last year was probably similar to Philadelphia when the Eagles won the Super Bowl or Vancouver when the Canucks lost the Stanley Cup.
According to crime and safety stats, France and the US are fairly equal. However, in terms of violent crime and murder the US is far ahead of France. 5.7 vs 1.3 homicides per 100k. If France is past the point of no return then where is the US? And the rest of Europe is safer and less violent….
Quickly checked France’s murder rate over time…… like the US, France’s murder rate is in decline. Since 1990, the murder rate has been cut nearly in half from 2.4 to 1.3 per 100k. The point of no return???
Property and theft crimes have increased since the Covid dip but still much lower than 20 years ago. Again not the point of no return

Further evidence that illegals were driving up housing costs.
Keep deporting. The price for home buyers will continue to improve, stimulating the market. Econ 101.

“Welfare wastes $2.5 trillion in fraud and vote-buying.
There’s the billions Somalis stole. The hundreds of billion of fraud. And the trillions for able-bodied people who could work but choose not to.
