Thanks, to all! We had a nice brunch at First Watch to celebrate my birthday and another Bible study lady’s birthday. I am so blessed to have such awesome Christian friendships in them and in the Wanderers.
I got a better clue as to what is going on with my knee. I had started using a new supplement, supposed to be good for joints and detox. I think it was too powerful and was obviously trying to move things rapidly that wanted to settle around my knee. I will hopefully get an x-ray next week to check it out.
We actually hit the 60s today. A pleasant day all around.
I just got a call from Son. He was sharing about his conference in Nashville last weekend. Now he is meeting up with friends from Covenant College who are in town where he lives for dinner.
I am so glad he has made good friends from all the colleges and universities he has been associated with. He does not have any long lasting friendships from homeschooling days because we were all over town and in different groups to get all his credits in for getting into college. What we did worked for a great education but not for making long term friends.
Do you have any thoughts about that RKessler? Are you in an umbrella group? We never went that route where you go with one group that covers all the bases to get the student to graduate with needed credits for college. But if the focus is going to trade school then that is not as necessary.
I was out of town on the opposite side of Missouri at my son-in-law’s Master’s Degree graduation. I’ll post the “Friday funnies” tomorrow. It’ll be the Saturday morning cartoons, just like in our childhoods.
