  1. Good morning! It’s in the 30s this morning. I am so tired of this too cold weather in the South. I have a load of things from the washer to put in the dryer, but is is outside in the unheated utility room. I don’t like to stress it by using it when it’s this cold. So I wait for warming to the low 50s.

I had a near fainting incident at my Bible study yesterday. My knee has been troubling me and it gets stiff when sitting in the cold room for Bible study. It was much worse yesterday and I think the pain put me in shock so I got very hot and sweated a lot and was a hair away from passing out. The ladies revived me. I did not want an ambulance. At least it happened near the end of our study time. I still feel weak. We have lots of knee braces to chose from thanks to Art. 🙂

  3. Morning! 26 degrees, snowy and foggy…where’d that come from?! Our high was supposed to be 50 today! Sheesh!

Oh Janice take it easy today! Nerve issues can take such an unexpected toll on the body. And fluctuations in temperatures not helping either! Thankful the ladies were there with you when this happened and praying this heals and resolves quickly.

  6. Total wimps in California where, as Jo noted a few days ago, we’re socked into fog. I’m wearing three layer in the house. And the heat is on (low, of course). I think it’s time to put on warm socks and slippers!

    LOL

Writing day. Summer in Austria. A nice change. 🙂

  7. Finally, we have a balmy 56°. But it is windy. I gave up trying to sweep leaves out of the carport. It seemed they blew back to the exact spots I had swept them from. We have seen sun, too! Such a delight after dull days.

  8. Very cold and snowy here. Looks lovely outside. Had 2 new inches of snow by the time we got back from the vet. Kootenay had a bad night and in the morning could no longer stand, so it was time. Needless to say, we are very sad as he was only three. Picked up junk food for supper as neither of us felt like cooking.

  9. That is sad, Kare.

I am sorry to hear about all the health challenges.

We have had a very cold December so far. It came so suddenly that there was no time to acclimate to it. I am thankful for warm clothes.
