Thanks to the Lord and all of you who prayed for safe travels. Most of our trip was on dry roads. We had some rain, just a tad of mixed precipitation and pretty good driving. We left early and were glad we did. Today is miserable outside. I was sad that we didn’t get some nice sticky snow for the grands to make snowmen or snowballs. That usually happens before this type of weather. This reminds me of the infamous Armistice Day snow MN had way back decades. That happened before the wonderful weather warnings we get in modern times and people were caught unaware. School children ended up staying in people’s houses when buses got stuck. Duck hunters and others caught unaware died. Women left homes for work in the cities in nylons and heels to end up having to navigate home in snow drifts.
Thankful for weather experts and reporters who save lives and help us all immensely and often without gratitude.
