Attempting to be a good helpmate today. We are finishing up a pipeline project which Miguel and Trey almost completed. They brought water from the trailer park over to the pasture where I have my chickens and baby goats. We are also going to pull some more cactus and haul it to the burn pile.
Tomorrow, I have a couple of Trey’s buddies coming over to help with the barn roof. Should be a fun time.
Project got done. 50 ft of pasture clear on the north side. All cactus cleared and taken to burn pile. Moved the water tub for the goats and filled. So happy to be making progress.
RK you are a bundle of energy! Do you ever sleep? When you burn cactus in the fire does it create a sweet aroma. We loved the scent of pine when we burned pine cones in the fire.

Thankful Art is feeling better! I find myself groaning at times while getting up or lifting something … getting older but thankful for every new day given!

I have never thought of putting cactus into a brush fire. Does it burn like regular wood?
