  1. Interesting, isn’t it? We know that our eternal home will be infinitely more joyous and peaceful than anything we can have in this life, and yet we don’t want our lives to end too early.

For one thing, that must be because we don’t want to leave our loved ones and the pleasant aspects of our lives that God has blessed us with. Also, though, is that God made us to live and not die, but when sin entered the picture, so did death. There is still something deep within us that recognizes that death is not the way God intended it to be.

  2. I don’t think it would be bad to die (as long as it is a painless death) and go to live with the Lord. However, there are people who rely on me. Also, I do want to do all the Lord has for me.

😦 Children brought up in chaos. Even in death the chaos is evident and so many are hurt. It is good we have a God we really can trust.

  3. Yes, exactly. People rely on us and we don’t want to leave too soon and leave them without resources to cover what we are able to do for them. We are not obsolete yet! Sometimes we might be the only prayer warrior backing up a loved one.
