Continued prayers for Darwin and his wife. And for Nick’s family…may our Lord soothe their hearts and aches with His gentle touch….
Continued prayer for Cheryl…I’m forgetting the date of the surgery but He knows and we pray always…
Update on my friend S….she continues to be kind to my one friend…no one else. She had the caregiver in tears when my friend arrived to visit. She berates and is oh so mean to those wanting to help. They have figured out she is planning her next escape. The staff is on high alert as the contracted full time caregivers will no longer be coming…it will be up to the staff at the memory care facility…praying the Lord will extend mercy and grace upon them.
Sad to hear about Joanne, missionary to Gambia. I think Phos served with her for a short time? I have seen occasional posts from them both on Facebook when my feed included their posts. Prayers for all on the field and other places who need comfort..
I wish there could be a better solution, NJ, but know God is totally aware and working things out. (The random thought just hit that maybe harp music could calm her agitated mind. Did you say before that she likes hymns? I know Alzheimer patients retain memories of those until the end.)
“Still raining here every few days, but as the rains get farther apart the humidity is a killer. My allergies have been really bad this year to the point that I have had asthma symptoms the last few days. I’ve decided that retreat is the best advance for now. As soon as I have the strength to get packed I will call a driver to take me to the guesthouse. I was planning to go now anyway, but I will stay longer to get some relief in the AC. By the time I return in a couple weeks the rainy season will be basically over with cooler, drier weather around the corner. Please pray for a quick return to health and for the employees who will keep things going while I’m gone.”
Yes, I saw that post, too, Janice. I so shocked and sad. She is in perfect health now, of course. I know she will be so missed. Phos did post on FB about her death.
Our sister-in-Christ, Joanne (aka Ajisuun) has gone to be with Jesus.

I saw Joanne’s Facebook post from 3 days ago:
