  1. Happy anniversary to M and R!

We had a heavy frost, which was expected. I am surprised at the flowers still holding up. I am looking forward to raking soon. I do love the refreshingly cool days of fall. Each season has its beauty.

  2. ok I sent a very carefully worded email concerning the scary decorations at the entrances to this development. It was a very hard thing for me to do. Nothing has happened yet but I got a wonderful reply from the general manager saying they would be taking them down. Moved me to tears

  3. Morning all and a most blessed Anniversary to M and R!!

It is forty degrees here and blue sky sunshiny! I love this season of autumn!

Moving day and waiting to hear when they need me…we have been on pins and needles to see if they could get friend out of the building and into the car…I think that must have happened because husband is there ready to load up and move out!

Jo I am so thankful the manager has a caring heart and that you followed yours in mentioning your concerns…God is so so good!

  4. Good afternoon. Yesterday I sweated when I swept leaves off the carport and went for a walk since it was humid and in the low eighties. Today it is 77° at 1 p.m. Tomorrow we expect a cold front and breezes from a coastal storm. Never boring weather here.

This morning at checkout I spoke with a nice lady who looked like she is probably Ethiopian. She goes to an Orthodox church. She seemed touched with love when I told her she is my Sister-in-Christ and that our different church calendars just give us longer to celebrate together.

  5. Jo, I am so glad you received a positive response. A huge blessing for many.

NJ, I have continued to think about what you and your friends are going through. It is nice to know there are such loyal people in this world. Praying for a better outcome with this move.

  6. She’s all moved in! My friend had donuts and hot chocolate to lure her into the car to go for a ride and she willing went. I left before they arrived at the new facility but friend said she snuggled into the bed upon arrival and fell fast asleep. Her last evening at the old facility was rough according to the caregiver…a supervisor had to step in to control the situation…may our Lord extend mercy to my friend and calm her in her last days…😢 thank you for all the prayer covering my sweet wanderers❣️

  7. So happy to hear a good report of this portion of the sad process, NJ. I have prayed for her, and will continue to do so as you all cross my mind.

    Happy anniversary, Michelle and Robert!
