  1. I was amused by the comments on the differences between the men’s and women’s breakfasts. It amuses me that my own husband has a difficult time discussing supper options (we are in the retirement time of life) but he is often planning breakfast the night before. He makes any bigger breakfast we have together. I am good with toast, fruit and nuts, but appreciate the breakfasts he makes, too.

It has been a blessing in my life to read about the differences in men and women’s brains. It is a wonderful thing to celebrate the differences and appreciate how male and female complement each other in so many ways. It helps temper being aggravated and having unrealistic expectations.

It also helps us realize why two men cannot be two mothers and the same for the reverse with women. All children deserve a mother and father where possible. Where not possible the extended family and church need to step up.

  2. Good Morning Everyone,

It has been a long time since I posted anything about BG. Last Christmas she asked if she could bring B to our Christmas celebration. What?????? Well of course you can. She had never wanted to expose us to anyone she dated. He came back at Easter. We all adore him and I think he is what I always prayed for for her. Fast forward, and they are married and expecting my grandson the end of December. He “calms her down”. There is no doubt that he loves and adores her. He is 5 or 6 years older than she is and they have known each other for several years. He was friends with the older brother of a guy she used to date, so he has seen her at her worst. He watched her go through all the garbage with that guy and still wanted to date her.

Her dad, Paul, and I all agree. He is just perfect for her and she is HAPPY

It is so good to see you Kim and what blessed news you bring! I am so thankful for our Lord’s sweet gift of a grandson and now we need to know what he will call you! Weren’t you Mimi to little granddaughter? The Lord is oh so good and to get a beloved son in law who honors and protects BG is a blessing to you as well! Praying for them as they journey this life together and with you!

  4. How wonderful, Kim. I am thrilled to hear your good news!

Our son has found a very special lady, too, who is a few years older. They are so well suited to each other. They have careers in states distant from each other. I am praying that something will work out for them in the future, if it is God’s will, so they can tie the knot.
