  1. Good late morning. It was shopping morning. We got behind a bike which was traveling 15 mph and took the middle of the lane so no passing him. We have a lot of obstacles to make the convenience of where we live a farce. But not all the time. We just never know.

Yesterday a light was out at two main connecting roads so my friend made some strategic detour moves to get us away from that tangle. Living in a place for years gives a big advantage in knowing how to avoid tangles.

  2. morning! Sun shining and 46 degrees…the pine forest scent is heavenly!

Janice I was describing to my husband the route I take to get to the south part of the Springs. He thought it would be much quicker to go another route via the interstate. I explained the road less traveled is more agreeable to me! Advantages of living in the area for40 years…

  3. My husband likes to take different routes all the time. Sometimes it drives me nuts, like when he takes the route with a detour, road construction or five railroad crossings. One of those crossings is currently closed for repairs, so he cannot drive there without a very long detour. I am glad it isn’t our one way to get to town! It is interesting to experience how different our brains work when deciding how to travel to town.

  4. Kathaleena I would definitely take the route with all the railroad crossings! The town in which I grew up had oh so many and I enjoy sitting at the crossing in anticipation of waving to the engineer or if luck will have it the guy riding the caboose!! 🚂
