According to a parent’s account, the video was replayed multiple times as the teacher launched into a lecture on anti-fascism, opposition to transgender activism, and the notion that Kirk
“deserved” to die because of his conservative stances.
Multiple families reported their children coming home upset and confused. One parent described the lesson as a “violation” of basic decency, questioning how any educator could justify injecting partisan venom into a safe learning space.
Principal Jennifer Koptie notified parents Friday, confirming the “violent video” was shown once and emphasizing that the matter is “extremely troubling and completely unacceptable.”
The teacher was immediately removed from duties and banned from the school, with counseling offered to affected students.
