I was happy for you, Jo, that everything worked out so well with the family.
We have a cable crew here putting in the high-speed internet cable from the road to the house. It is new to our whole township. It will be months before we have it, however. There have been at least five young men working. The first one I saw sitting on the edge of my front porch working by the box. I had just come out of the bedroom in my robe and was surprised. One shade was up a bit to allow air in. The window was open, so he was very quiet. He figured they would be gone in an hour, but that was about 7:20 and they have a bit more to do.
It’s taken some time (all God’s best blessings do), but Jo, it sounds like you are definitely on the receiving end of family acceptance and love♡ i feel very blessed to hear your good report.
so today I went to the county fair for a few hours as the grands went on rides. I am still so tired that I got up early and then took a long nap.
So two grandsons flew down from Portland with their young cousin. Tomorrow they return home as the youngest has a soccer tournament and he is an avid player. Since I had wanted to see him play I had my son get me a ticket to Portland So all three of us will fly together on standby tomorrow.. Then there won’t be any unaccompanied minors as I will escort them. Not sure how long I will stay, but not too long.
