I am again thanking the Lord for saving my grandson from serious injury or death when the tree fell on his home. I am praying it wakes him and his girlfriend up to the brevity of life, their need for a Savior, and what that means in practice.
I will remember your grandson and family in prayer, Kathaleena. Those close calls can be scary and make you think more soberly about life and your relationship to God.
Please pray for me to be able with God’s help to say and do the right things to help. I sometimes feel very burdened by being the seemingly only Christian speaking into lives of people I know. I am glad that the Holy Spirit does bring to mind Scriptures to share just at the right time.

I finally was in contact with my friend who lost her 50 y/o son. She said I am the only one who has had words and prayers to bring her comfort.
