Prayer here as we organize and prepare to head out to the family reunion. Both brothers plan to be here today. Moscow brother is stopping on the way to the reunion and Moscow brother will stay here to care for dad and the farmlette. Should be interesting all around!
There is a glitch with the home repair plans. The contractor who was going to do the work had to pull out of it. Steve, the mortgage guy, is going to try to find someone else, but it will probably delay the work for a while. However, the rehab loan will still go through as planned, which includes switching my homeowners insurance, so that I will not lose the house before the work can be done.
God bless Steve. He is taking care of this for me, as he has taken care of setting up everything else. He even has the lawyer set up for me and will coordinate when all can be present for the closing. Knowing how new this all is to me, and how nervous I am about it all, he has been very reassuring to me throughout this process.
Steve called again. He is giving my info to a contractor that his wife Kathy has recommended. (I think that’s what he said. He did mention that Kathy knows this man, and I am pretty sure she recommended him.) Kathy is the realtor I had initially contacted and will be using when it is time to sell the house.
The contractor will give me a call next week, possibly Monday, to set up a time to come out and look at the house. This is a relief.
Covering this in prayer Kizzie. The Lord knows just the right person to handle this and we trust through the twists and turns it will be His chosen person for the job! Praying for His comfort and peace to surround you in the midst of it all…
