To the Christmas tune “most wonderful time of the year. Words by Don Johnson
It’s the most scorching time of the year With hot sun a flashing and sun burn attaching to all that are exposed. Let’s all go for this fun in the sun, when it’s 99 in the shade. Our blisters are blessed if they fall short of heat stroke and death.
It’s the most fragrant time of the year with ice cubes a melting and underarms a sweltering, with insect repellent on top of sun creams and whiffs of mildew and fungi on laundry serene.
It’s the buggiest time of the year.
We all yearn for the great outdoors. With house flies a crawling and mosquitoes a humming and ticks a biting places you don’t even want to know. Yes, it’s itching like crazy, but so what Daisy? It’s our favorite time of the year.
Long day here. Morning Bible study, 10:30-12:30. Off to early dinner at 4 and women’s church event at 6-8 and finally home at 9. I am stuffed from dinner from the OK Cafe. I brought Art a leftover corn muffin. I.am.tired. Miss Bosley is hanging in here.
I’ve been on threads listening to snippets from John MacArthur
blessed
and then to hear him leading hymns like Great is Thy Faithfulness and others. Just reminds me how important hymns are as we proclaim the truth of scripture
Good morning. It’s a beautiful day.

It is rainy here. That is preferable to the smoke, however.

Good morning. In from watering and picking a hatful of raspberries for adding to yogurt, banana, and cacao powder.
