  1. I’m totally, emotionally, physically, and mentally wrung out.

But I HAVE bought the plane tickets.

Life should not be this difficult.

Maybe I’ll go weed for awhile and get it out of my system?

  2. Friend is off to France in 2 days — permanently, with other friends. Apparently loads of paperwork involved, pets moving as well.

Best friend from high school (we spent our summers on the local LA beach, such wonderful memories) & her daughter/son-in-law have migrated to the beaches of Ecuador. Real Estate/handyman Pal is now in Belize for good enjoying Taco Tuesdays with the ex-patriate US community on his new tiny sheltered front porch with his border collie Max who also left the states.

Getting update texts from them all.

Me, I’m here for duration, we will see what unfolds. 🙂

  3. Good afternoon! We had a women’s event at my church, the first in a long time. I invited quite a few who showed up. I had a whole table full, and the pastor’s wife said I got the prize for the most invited.

Yesterday I made a double batch of Lemon Blueberry Muffins with almond flour, gluten free. They went over well at the breakfast table.

We had a speaker, a singer, and hosts who led the session. The program used the Japanese art form of kintsugi (not sure I spelled it correctly) based on repairing broken vessels with glue that has gold in it so the vessel is stronger in the broken places. We used paper hearts torn and put back together with glue and gold markers. We were given frames for our creations. Psalm 147 was woven into the program. It was very good. All the ladiess I invited had a wonderful time. We also had a great luncheon.
