  1. The young relative on chemo with children 8 months and 3, is back in the hospital after a second round and not doing well.

Pray for his heart–that it would bow to the God who created him.

This is so sad for so many reasons.

    Thanks,

    M

  2. We have a short-term team of five from the UK with us this week to help befriend Czech young people – please pray for God to powerfully use their testimonies and witness.

  3. I have been thinking, after seeing a discussion of our mission team to Baltimore, how much easier it is for teams to do the knocking on doors and meeting strangers in an area they have no lasting connections to. They are not so burdened with the wondering if they will forever be rejected by neighbors or get a reputation in the community in which they live as being a Bible thumper. I have recently been inviting people in my neighborhood to a church event. It is taking a lot of bravery to do so. It is certainly easier to just be a prayer walker on the street.

Praying for a great response to the UK outreach team, Tychicus. Our Baltimore team got a great response that encouraged the young participants to desire to do more mission trips.

  4. Nightingale has been looking for a two-bedroom apartment. So far, the ones she has seen in her price range (rent range?) have been tiny, and not in good shape.

Not tiny as in “not up to my standards of spaciousness,” but truly tiny. Like not having room for both a bed and a dresser in a bedroom, In one, she thought she was in a hallway, but it was the living room.

Today, she saw an apartment that is half of a duplex, nice and spacious, and in very good shape. The rent is at the top of the range of what she can afford, but worth it. It is so nice, she said, that she is afraid to hope for it because it will be so disappointing if she doesn’t get it. At this point, she is not the only one with her name on the list of interested people, and her name is after a few others.

Please pray that if she doesn’t get this particular apartment (which it looks like she probably won’t), she will find something nice and comfortable (here in our town) that she can afford, and will want to stay in for many years.

    Thank you.
