What are those flowers in the header? I am not sure I have seen those before. And where was the photo taken?
We had an excellent sermon on Forgiveness yesterday by our Hispanic pastor for the Seniors (old folks like us). He is over Hispanic studies at a seminary and got voted top professor of the school for last year. It is edifying if you have time to watch.
our church service was outside yesterday. As a deaconess I had the privilege of serving communion as we needed everyone to reach the crowd. I went way to the side and began with one of the security guards. What a blessing
I found out that the church family camp will be floating down the Truckee river on Friday I am so excited. My favorite thing to do and it’s probably been 30 years
“Some guy spent $500,000 on a giant machine that literally prints houses with concrete. It cranks out walls designed to last 300 years, with perfect slots for pipes and wires, plus insulation and steel reinforcements for extra strength.
No crew needed, no coffee breaks. It runs nonstop and cuts building costs by up to 45%.
The best part? You could move in within a few days to 3 weeks.
Try getting that from a contractor who shows up late holding iced coffee.”
Maybe it is a different variety of lavender than grows two doors down from us. What I see here is much taller and the flower spires are much longer. It smells heavenly and is full of bees.
Good morning, all. Seems rather quiet in here this morning.

Good morning!
Quiet is good, eh, Mumsee? How is Dad?
I am still checking tire prices for Art’s need since he had the flat.

That looks like lavender to me.
Jury duty this week. I wait with bated breath (and a book!)

There are many different varieties. I have two or three in my front yard!

It is a kind of lavender we bought at Walmart. I planted it in front of our house in an old tub.
