As I requested yesterday (a few seconds ago) please pray for me as I attend my great-niece’s funeral today. And pray for her loved ones also, of course.

It was a difficult funeral. The large church was full. There were a lot of people who spoke. A suicide always brings out the feeling that you never did enough, even though you may have tried over and over. The church talked about her faith in Christ, so that was nice to hear again. There are two little babies that are now in foster care and need to be adopted, hopefully together. The family members have adopted three in two different families already. They are all cherished children. Pray the right solution for these two little ones will be found.
This young woman managed to graduate from college to be able to be a counselor to others. In the end her depression and the call of the drugs overcame her. I am glad I worship a God who sees, knows, cares, loves and forgives us.
