  1. I’m at the ER with Cheryl.

She has something going on with her lungs, maybe pneumonia, or a respiratory infection. Sore chest from coughing and wheezing, sweating but no fever,……

    Prayers please.

  2. Praying for Cheryl and you, AJ. I hope your daughter and SIL are able to help give support. I am praying no one else gets what she had that brought it on. It sounds like she is receiving standard treatment that works effectively to overcome the illness. It does require a lot of rest. May God speed her healing with a divine touch of His healing power. In Jesus’ name, Amen

  3. OK the scan results are back.

She has necrotizing pneumonia, one of the worst kinds, as it can kill off healthy portions of the lung. She’s asthmatic so that’s very concerning.

They will give her a room, and antibiotics, 2 to 3 day hospital stay. She’s had 2 nebulizer treatments too.

Additional prayers needed, obviously, and thank you!

  4. Continuing prayers for this more serious condition which I have never heard of before today. Prayers for her oxygen levels to rise with each nebulizer treatment, and that the antibiotic will kick that crud out of her and into oblivion so no one else gets it. Prayers for kind, gentle, loving staff (Christian if possible), comfort from soreness brought on by coughing, and excellent response to all meds. I will be reminding God frequently about her needs and yours, AJ.

  5. Prayers for Cheryl and AJ.

Pray for friend with schizophrenia who is resistant to medication and is in a downward spiral. Another friend and I took her out to lunch today as she’s been isolating, cutting off family members and generally now is in a particularly bad space (again).

I got her to Target afterward to pick up some items and back home again. We will see.

It all went better than I feared it might, but the situation is still going to be probably touch and go.

Such a difficult condition to treat and to understand.

  6. Cheryl was moved, but not to a regular room. She is now in semi isolation, masks required to enter until they rule out a few possible causes, like tuberculosis. She still doesn’t have a room with a private bathroom, which seems, well, stupid.

Sitting with her is difficult, as my breathing still sucks from the lung blood clots. The mask is aggravating it.

  7. Praying still Aj. Slip off that mask when they leave the room maybe….and hoping they give her a room with total isolation…Lord bring healing and attentive care for our sweet sister…while easing Aj’s breathing and discomfort through it all..❣️🙏

  8. Prayers continuing down south.

AJ, Art has a really hard time wearing the masks because he has a touch of COPD. I know how he’d be struggling as you are. If it is not an infectious risk to you then do as NJ suggested. Not having a private bathroom is bothersome, too. In one of my brother’s cardiac step down from CCU rooms there was a corner commode with a curtain you could pull around the toilet. I figured it was easier for staff to quickly access the patient if necessary, but it was sure a lack of privacy.

    Praying fervently!

  9. the mask is to protect others from me on the (miniscule) off chance that the infection is tuberculosis/ airborne. This has been a known fact for quite some time, but at some point today someone felt it was important suddenly

  10. Eldest daughter reports that their church announced this morning that they and three other Boise churches have received threats of physical violence for around July 20. Praying for them and the threat maker and his family.
