  1. We had the mostly peaceful protest last night on Buford Highway. An agreement was made that the protesters would leave by 9:30 which the organizers kept to (left at 9). A group of stragglers stayed and damaged three patrol cars. Six people got arrested. It was handled by the city of Brookhaven police rather than the county. I had forgotten how much territory falls into the city lines.

  2. We went by a group of protesters at a local DNR location twice and I have yet to hear what they were protesting. Apparently, the DNR should be ashamed, but I don’t know why. It is always good to get some publicity and maybe they tried. It was out in the country on a highway. No one was on the road, however. I never even heard anything on social media. It was as peaceful as it could be, though.

“LA mayor Karen Bass tells Los Angeles residents to stay away from downtown, says 23 businesses have been looted & there is “graffiti everywhere.”

Bass has implemented a curfew in DTLA tonight from 8pm to 6am.

“Many businesses have now been affected by or vandalized. Last night there were 23 businesses that were looted.”

“The graffiti is everywhere and has caused significant damages to businesses and a number of properties.”

“GM’s $4B reshoring move is a direct win for American workers—exactly the outcome of strong tariffs and pro-U.S. manufacturing policies. Shifting production from Mexico to Detroit, Kansas, and Tennessee proves that when D.C. stops coddling globalist outsourcing, companies pivot fast. This isn’t charity—it’s survival.

Biden’s EV mandates flopped because they ignored market reality, but Trump’s pressure forced GM to revive gas-powered lines and protect union jobs. The result? Thousands of positions saved, factories reopened, and a blueprint for other automakers: build here or pay the price.

Real leadership doesn’t beg—it commands results.”
