  1. Nice header!

I went to a birthday luncheon for my 95 y/o friend. My friend and I invited two other ladies who joined us to surprise her. A really fun time.

In other news of the not so fun sort, I finally heard from the vet about our kitty, Miss Bosley. Her white blood count is extremely elevated which indicates a form of leukemia. He seems to think that she will not live much longer. Art and I will need to decide if chemo or end of life comfort care is our next step. Please pray that she will still have the best of life quality in whatever time she has left. Thank you. She does not seem to be in pain, still has times of more energy mixed with times of low energy.

  2. Janice I am sad to hear this news. I still remember when she showed up at your door. She has been such a sweet blessing living her best life with you. Covering you in prayer❣️

  3. Thanks, to you all. Art just got home and I told him. Son just called after he got to his destination in MS after leaving here this morning, and I told him. Son said he had a bad dream about her last night that she was falling to pieces and lost her fur. He said the news was not as bad as his dream. She actually looks good, and the doc said she is not in pain, unaware of what is happening. She acts like herself about half the time, otherwise little energy.

Weird thing is that at the birthday luncheon, my 95 y/o friend mentioned her daughter who died in her twenties from leukemia and she’d gotten the news about the diagnosis impersonally over the phone. My friend was in the car with me when I got the vet’s call which I had on speaker phone, so she heard the news about the leukemia and what that means. It was very awkward.

  4. Oh, Janice, that is so sad. I remember her showing up at your door and your internal debate of whether to keep her or not. I’m so glad you did and that you have shared her adventures and quirks with us here.
