  1. Praise: caught that fox in the live cage. Cute little critter but its babes are well fed back in the den with our mom cat, chickens, eggs, goldfish. We have done our part.

Prayer: we can outwit our real target, the raccoons.

Praise: God put us on this earth with the direction to be good stewards of it. What a gift!

  2. A childhood friend passed away this weekend.,He was the kindest person and he professed faith in Christ. I trust he is now with our Lord. When we were in elementary school you could always find Billy Judy Mike and Nancy playing at the park or riding bikes. We all lived on the same block and went through all of our school days together. Husband is somewhat amazed how those bonds have lasted this many years…I am forever blessed by those lifelong bonds…

And I would be so sad to know someone captured our Vixie…she is the sweetest fox and loves to capture voles and mice on our property. . Now if something happened to those raccoon to make them disappear that would not be a bad thing! Nj

  3. My niece’s husband, B, about 35 years old and married for six years, has had a return of cancer. The oncologist in the family is saying it doesn’t look good.

He’s flying to Sloan Kettering in NYC today for yet another opinion, has already “wasted” 2 weeks desperately looking for a silver bullet.

UCLA oncology has been waiting for him to come in and get the treatment, the last ditch treatment, he needs.

The children are 6 months and 3.

A tragedy in so many ways.

  4. We have a fire about 14km east of us. Thankfully the high winds have been out of the south and west, but…communities are evacuating and now Camp Kadesh could be in the line of the fire. Please pray for rain. Driving home today we could see 4 large smoke columns from huge fires near other communities. We haven’t had measurable rain for over a month.

  5. Praying for the young father as he seeks help…may he look to the Lord for direction and peace in the midst of it all…my heart breaks for them…

Praying too for the fire situation…asking for rain to fall, quenching the dry earth…and protect those in the path…
