Janice, I think that the idea that sickness is a result of the sin in the Garden of Eden is a general idea of sickness. Other sickness can be a result of our choices, someone else’s, but not necessarily. Many times people like to make accusations of people causing sickness or other bad happenings, because they think it will make them immune from such things. It is superstition.

Good point about the superstition, Kathaleena. I had not thought of it as a way they thought of it as creating immunity. I thought they were just judgemental hypocrites enjoying calling a person a sinner
