There was a terrorist attack on Wednesday night outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.
The attack occurred outside the Young Diplomats Reception for young Jewish professionals, hosted by the American Jewish Committee. Two staffers, Yaron Lischinsky, 30, a German-Israeli dual citizen and a devout evangelical Christian who had immigrated to Israel at the age of 16 and served in the Israel Defense Forces, and Sarah Milgrim, 26, were shot at close range. Lischinsky had just bought an engagement ring to propose to Milgrim when they got back to Jerusalem.

(WECC). It would become a powerful new agency with almost no democratic accountability. None of its nine members will be elected. Instead, they will be appointed by universities, environmental groups, and policy institutes, with a requirement that no member may have any financial ties to agriculture, energy, or development.
That’s right: if you’re a rancher, farmer, or anyone who makes a living from the land, you’re disqualified from participating in the very commission that will regulate your land.”
I have a friend who listens to Eric Erickson. That is an interesting article about the lady doctor. I had never heard of her. The way she is presented, she certainly sounds like a bad choice.
The article states that sickness is a result of sin. Since I just finished the study in Job last week, a big take-away for me is that sickness does not necessarily relate to an individual’s sin. That was what Job’s friends were accusing him of, personal sin that brought about his affliction. God in His sovereignty had allowed Satan to affliction Job as a test of his faith.
I do realize there was no sickness in the Garden of Eden before original sin entered the world we know.
