Cheryl -Wow! That Challies article really is, as mumsee said, blunt. But it could not be more accurate in what it says about the Roman Catholic leadership. We in the US see a watered down version of Catholicism. But wherever it is the dominant religion it is different. Ask any Protestant missionary in Latin America and they will probably tell you their biggest detractors are Catholic priests.
As a former Catholic, I agree that there are true Christians in that church, but if they really follow the Lord, they’ll get out.
So tomorrow is, as I call it, shove a camera in and look for cancer day.
As you can see, I’m not fond of it. But if this one is like the last, still cancer free, they will leave me alone for a year. So we do what must be done. 😔
We had a tornado warning last night, but no tornado. However, across the street a big tree fell on the neighbor’s driveway. Don’t know if there’s a car under it. If so, they lost a Hummer or a Mustang, or both.
We tried a new fruit today, soursop. It has an interesting flavor and texture. It is creamy yet has some fibrous strings. The black seeds, about the size of black beans, must be discarded. It smells like peaches and has that flavor mingled with citrus flavor. I wonder if it grows in PNG, Jo? I think what we ate was from Central America.
First!
Yep, I still got it.

To Anonymous – You posted while I was typing, so it’s a tie. But at least people know who I am.

I edited my first post Peter, to include my name. Remember, all ties go to the house. 😁

So prayers would be appreciated, please.

Praying.
I, of course, was here earlier but out of politeness, left first for others who desperately need such affirmation.
