The House tax bill really is a disgrace, but you have to read beyond the headline to find out how bad it really is.
I want to know why people earning over a million dollars a year are getting a tax cut at the expense of food for lower income people — and no tax relief on Social Security.
“As a Republican, I have never been so disappointed in the @HouseGOP for changing Trump’s directive on no tax on social security to a measly $4k deduction. This was going to be a HUGE win for us, swaying naysayers, and you all blew it.”
Is there room for “andworthlessdems” in that hashtag, AJ? They could stand up for the poor and oppressed. And they could take credit for saving the SS tax cut. But no, they’re busy forcing the House to vote for empeachment. Again.

The answer sadly Debra, is because the House Rs were more worried about the rich than those on SS.
It’s also against the wishes of Trump. He needs to use the threat of veto to get that back in.
But typical Congressional Rs, always ready to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
#USELESSGOP trends for a reason.
