  1. We have a high of 87 predicted. There are three fires that are not out yet. Over 40 structures have burned in one of them. I felt so bad for the young woman talking about how they pounded in every nail and built everything from the ground up on their home. She was grateful to be alive and to have gotten out. A car started on fire as they fled. Thankfully, tomorrow should bring badly needed rain.

  2. Husband and the two almost children are in Lewiston for their GED graduation. That will be nice. Most of our children got high school diplomas, some GED’s, a couple nothing. But I believe this is the actual graduation ceremony. No, one of the boys got his GED at the Youth Challenge so Mike went to his graduation.

  3. Congrats to those who got their diplomas.

My grandson is now in his first day as a Marine. It is amazing to me that anyone wants to go through this boot camp.

The fires are consuming more and more. Many people are on alert for evacuations. Everyone was hoping for rain tomorrow, but it seems there will be no significant rain until later on Thursday. Then we are to get quite a storm. We have to travel that day, so are hoping it is less than anticipated.
