I used to love getting the latest iPhone coming out; now I put it off as long as I can (for the price, of course, but also because I’ll have to “learn it”) ….
Prayers for my friend K who texted this morning that her husband is in hospice and is now not expected to survive another day or two. Pray for the family as they navigate this horribly difficult time ahead of grief and sorrow. I am so sad for what they are going through.

K’s husband died at 3 a.m. this morning, pray for her and her daughters as they grieve such a hard loss and prepare for the days ahead.

3 weeks until Stargazer’s wedding.
We lost the rehearsal restaurant 10 days ago but our hotel is now handling it.
I’ve got a dress bit no shoes, need to put together a Powerpoint for the dinner, and take big breaths about dissatisfied extended families.
it’s been wild. We haven’t married off a child in 19 years!

M, the shoes you need may be tougher to find than a dress. Prayers that things go smoothly in all the remaining details and that everyone chills about anything stewing on the backburner regarding family relationships. Asking God for a wonderful wedding and all things related to it.

My husband played music at another church today. They do this once a year. The woman in the band was not there. She is the one whose sister was also dying of cancer. We just got word her sister has now passed away. She keeps referring it as ‘getting her angel wings.’ I keep praying our friend actually gets into the bible for her theology. She is a wonderfully, kind person, as was her sister who passed away. She sings some wonderful gospel songs but does not go too deep. I am so glad God knows hearts. This is the second sister she has lost to cancer, and she is particularly close to her.

Prayers for her, Kathaleena, and especially that the Holy Spirit would draw her to desire to go deeper into the Word of God.
