Good morning! We are sitting at a pleasant 66° and headed to the low 80s. I’d love to keep it like this.
The news said that May 1 is the typical day for seniors to make their decisions about where to attend college. I don’t know why I never knew that. I guess it means more for those who have sent in multiple applications. In our family, we had one institution we chose and got accepted to and that was that.
We should hit 65 today after a cold yesterday. That will be good for me. I roast (most of the time) when it is over 70. Everything is getting green after all the rain we got. The trees are starting to leaf out. As the weather guy remarked recently, we Northerners appreciate green very much! I am sure my little pink primroses will be blooming soon.
My daughter was able to watch her son conduct his first concerts. He had three different classes to conduct. We got to see a small video clip. It is different to hear your grandson called ‘Mr.’ This is for his student teaching.
We had a 50 degree drop from yesterday’s high (80s) to last night’s low (30s). I had the a/c on for a bit yesterday. I switched to heat at bedtime but the house never got cold enough for it to kick in.

A very quiet day here! We are at 85° so feeling rather warm. I turned on the fans. I am thankful I don’t have on a fur coat like Miss Bosley. 🙂

Isn’t that true for all the Midwest?

It’s true here in Connecticut, too. For fall, too.

I hear that about Nashville. Maybe California is an exception or southern California? Otherwise, it seems weather can swing quite a bit everywhere.
