  1. All while establishment stooges play along with Dems….

“Victor Davis Hanson explains how the EXACT SAME organizations, like George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, who funded the lawfare against Trump are now cherry picking Barack Obama and Clinton judges to block Trump’s orders“

Donald Trump and JD Vance won an overwhelming victory, and yet they are now stymied in a pre planned way.

Liberal organizations, lavishly funded by what they themselves might want to call oligarchs, have funded massive lawsuits against the Trump administration, stopping executive orders, cherry picking left wing activist judges appointed by either Biden, Obama or Bill Clinton. And what did they do? They tried to put Donald Trump in jail.

That same lawfare has now been transmogrified and put into a more concerted effort to stop everything that Donald Trump is trying to do. And what he’s trying to do, remember, is not radical. The point is they want to delay, delay, delay.

    — Their plan is to drag all of these executive orders through the courts and stop him.

Create a sense of chaos, controversy, constitutional crisis, and eat up these precious 4 years.”

“Chuck Schumer is holding up the appointment of tons of sub-cabinet level Trump personnel across the government.  This includes ambassadors.  Biden holdovers and/or bureaucrats, but I repeat myself, are in place and the Senate Republicans have done damn little about it.  Indeed, the conservative media has said virtually nothing about it.  (I don’t expect the Democrat Party media to say anything — unless they cheer.)

And while I am at it, where the hell is the tax bill?  Those Trump tax cuts need to be in place asap, so they have time to work their way through the economy.  We need more economic growth and wealth creation and that requires that these tax cuts be in place.  And NO, RINO’s, do not raise taxes on “the wealthy” as a sop to the Democrat Party Marxists and their class warfare BS.  First, it won’t work anyway and, second, across the board tax cuts are not taxes for the wealthy.  They are essential.  If you don’t get this done, you will get blown out in the midterms and it won’t be due to tariffs but to your failure to get these tax cuts done and fast.”

“We should be very concerned that Republicans in Congress are purposely going to hand over the majority to democrats, just like 2018.

Stall long enough so that Trump’s Executive orders aren’t codified, no election laws on the books and just go back to business as usual.”

  4. Well I had no idea about a blackout although I wouldn’t be shopping on Easter Sunday. Interesting

The Republicans and the high court have been a huge disappointment thus far. Our newly elected Congressman Crank is a carbon copy of Lamborn…useless and only cares about the USAFA and Spaceforce. Before he was elected his words and focus seemed to be quite different. Nj

  5. The person (a state employee) caught keying six Teslas won’t even be charged. Disgusting, but not surprising. Meanwhile any policeman doing his job is raked over the coals with charges for anything under the sun.

  6. One of the people recently fired from the Pentagon for supposedly leaking information to the press gave a very good interview to Tucker Carlson. He seems to think the pro-war Israel lobby was behind the firings because 1) he didn’t leak anything (and doesn’t think the others fired did either) and 2) he and the others were voices AGAINST war with Iran. In my opinion, he’s credible.

  7. As one commentator (@Tangle) so correctly put it:

~ This is the Hegseth story: Everything he touches turns to chaos. Since his confirmation hearing, Hegseth has proven himself to be wholly and obviously unqualified to lead a department that employs three million people and has a budget of over $800 billion. In a matter of weeks, Hegseth has been implicated in the Signal chat controversy, a spate of leaks, another Signal chat scandal that involved sending classified information to his family members, and then resignations or dismissals of some of his closest allies and top aides. We’re not even at the 100-day mark yet. ~

    Only a matter of time.

  8. Considering the Blackout Retail days, I only knew originally about them because of my Bible study group, lol

We have a bit of a mixed group. One lady posted about the first Blackout thinking we’d get in line and follow her lead. The majority did not support DEI so no traction, and some words from the opposing opinion caused a complaint that we were getting too political, probably from the one who did the original post. We all know how that goes!

When I saw the lone FB post that Target was going with Blackout on Easter I almost laughed at the divine beauty of it all! We want stores to not open on Easter!

In Atlanta news this morning there has now been called a continuing boycott of Target by one of the pastors at a huge Atlanta black church. They are calling it a fast from shopping at Target to show that the sales from black shoppers are substantial. They hope to get DEI back in Target.

  9. It’s amazing how some of these fake stories (Hegseth supposedly sending classified information to his family members) make the light of day.

It’s also amazing how many Deep State people still have so much influence in government and are actively seeking to derail the Trump presidency.

  10. Also, the effort to oust Hegseth will intensify as he digs deeper into the Biden Pentagon’s massive failures. And dig he is.

Accountability is what they fear most, the Dems and the warmongering right.

Hence the uptick in calls for his removal.

  11. The things Hegseth is doing are already delivering.

Reversed DEI and LGBTQ policies that were hurting enlistment. Those in the military enjoy having a competent commander, but the rear echelon, never served type wouldn’t understand that.

    But sure….. remove him… 🙄

  12. If Hegseth shoots his own foot soldiers at the Pentagon he’s going to have a tough time getting to the bottom of anything except the unemployment line.

I wish him well in his efforts to get to the bottom of all kinds of incompetence and corruption. But I don’t trust the Israeli lobby and others who are currently clamouring for war. And I’m concerned he is susceptible to those pressures.

  13. Wicked…and demonic…still looking for another state in which to reside🥲

The passage of HB25-1309 and HB25-1312 in the Colorado House has elicited national attention and local frustration, along with a united determination to fight back against the extremist bullies trying to co-opt the rights of parents in the Centennial State.

HB25-1309 mandates that every insurance plan in Colorado cover the cost sexual mutilation surgeries. There is no exemption for religious organizations.

HB25-1312 makes it legal for courts to remove sexually confused children from their parents if the mom and dad continue calling their child with the name they gave them at birth. It also requires schools that have dress codes to allow boys to dress like girls and vice versa without parental consent or guidance.

The bill even adds the terms “deadnaming” (using a child’s original name) and “misgendering” (failing to refer to a person by their nonbiological sex) to the litany of discriminatory acts under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act.

  14. The Deep State bureaucracy in the Pentagon has pretty much perfected how to collude with others within the department and then leak to the press to “slash and burn” anyone, even their own leader and the President himself. Hegseth is fighting back in the midst of this Civil War by eliminating contracts with the military complex that exists outside the DoD.

Imagine the millions, possibly billions of dollars being taken away from corporations that rely on government funds! The CEOs of these companies, and lobbyists, will pay individuals to slander anyone to get what they desire. Hegseth seems to be more “deeply annoyed” with this tactic rather than worried about it. Stay the course, Pete – the USA will be far stronger…

  15. Does it ever strike some of you as odd when you always side with Trump (or whatever side you take) (as in “always”) with no variation or apparent ability to see any nuances here or there on issues, no matter what, that maybe there’s a lack of critical thinking? I guess I’d question myself if that were showing up in my thinking too often.

  18. Well let’s see….

I have nothing in common with most Democrats. Don’t support abortion, perversion, the LGBTQ nonsense, DEI, illegal aliens, or MS 13 gang/terrorist members, or pretty much any of their party platform.

In fact, I’m pretty much the antithesis of their platform, so why the heck would I side with them on anything.

My disdain for establishment Rs, their warmongering, uniparty bs either.

So no, I think I’m right where I should be.

The real question Dj, is why aren’t you?

You know the answer. TRUMP. You share their disdain, bordering on hatred for the man. Again, why?

    Liked by 1 person

  19. DJ never said anything about siding with the Democrats. There’s a difference between siding with the Democrats on one hand, and opposing Trump on specific issues on the other hand. I think that’s the “nuance” DJ is referring to.

Do you automatically think every Trump decision and policy is best, just because it’s Trump? Does being a Trump supporter generally mean you can never question him on specific points?

  20. Some of us are odd and peculiar people! It’s okay. We all have our quirks with a few quacks.

Personally, I think it is okay to accept that no one is going to be the perfect President. Some are more willing to accept flawed people as the best for the job rather than bow out. I don’t like everything Trump does, but he sure beat out the competition when I considered the stands each side took. I shutter to think where we’d be had he not won.

  21. Adding further nuance, on some questions there are more than two answers, not just the Democrats’ answer and the Trump answer. So believing a Trump decision/policy is not good does not automatically make one a supporter of the Democrats.

  22. Trump made good accomplishmnts in the first term despite all the opposition. Perhaps people want to be supportive because they expect good results in the final wash after this second term. He has plenty of people who put him down 24/7. I don’t want to be a part of that party.

  24. Kevin.

2 party system. If you aren’t siding with one, you have one other choice, the dem/NT side.

Also, Trump is pushing many of the conservative principles we all used to want, but due to the cult of personality thing, some are now against, lest they be accused of siding with the Bad Orange Man.

Many days I hear the same arguments from Dems I hear from the NTers. There seems little difference, again, due to their disdain for Trump, policy be damned.

Dj mistakenly believes some of us support Trump no matter what. That’s silly. I hate what the tariff thing has done to my 401k. But I see the need for what he is doing, not having TDS allows me to reasonably consider why something I dislike personally is good for us all in the long run. NTers seem to have lost this ability.

Also, those who complain about choosing sides don’t see they are doing the exact same thing. TRUMP did it, bad. It’s their automatic reaction.

Maybe those of us who appear to always side with Trump seem to do so because the others never do. They’re projecting.

And yes, it gets tiresome having to repeatedly defend principles we all used to agree on, but now some refuse to admit are good because Orange Man Bad. It’s their go to position.

” due to their disdain for Trump, policy be damned.”

“. . . because Orange Man Bad. It’s their go to position.”

That is just an easy way to dismiss other views, and those who hold them. DJ has said more than once that there are indeed things that Trump has done that she has agreed with.

  26. I didn’t mean to sound offensive — I was just trying to make the point that there are nuances in politics and when we become so one-sided we no longer even can see or acknowledge that we’re caught in a trap of our own making.

And, again, we need to get back to signing our posts here, please, for some more clarity (and honesty). Thank you.

  27. I’d say that if you assert that I am always on one side with lack of nuance, then you aren’t reading very carefully. As I’ve said before, one thing that I really don’t like about Pres. Trump is his lack of humility. I also don’t like how members of the current administration compare their performance to the previous administration so often.

However, for me overall it’s a question of the stark differences in worldview, with one side’s being generally pro-Christian and seeking to listen to the citizens and act in their best interests, and the other being generally anti-Christian with the resulting destructive policies that tear the country down.

Sure, there can be nuance on a given issue, but overall, as I’ve asked before, when in our history has there ever been an administration with the pro-Christian policies like the current administration has? As Christ-followers, why would we not support that?

  28. Also, if I could just add that it would be helpful, DJ, if you would simply let us know when Trump actually does something right in your opinion. I like to know when we are in agreement. I look for areas of agreement. Our differences seem to me to be over emphasized, but I can’t help but think we have more agreements than not. Just a suggestion.

  29. Some may think just because others agree more than disagree with our President we are daft and have no critical thinking skills. So be it. But I guarantee you most of us research and ponder what is being put forth. MSM is propaganda for the left. Deny it all you want it won’t change the fact they are. Trump is flawed but he loves this country. No one can seriously say that about the left. They are self serving and socialist in their thinking and actions. So sling those insults all you want…Nj

  30. Most recently, Debra, I have not had a lot of agreement with Trump, to be honest. So much of what has taken center stage is his whipsaw method of governing, the back-and-forth, uneven policies that have the country stuck in a chaotic back-and-forth state of confusion.

It has overshadowed his positions on some issues and I increasingly have the impression that his is lacking stability.

I am having a hard time keeping up with what it is he is actually believing right now and his behavior just strikes, me as untethered. Perhaps he’ll calm down, I don’t know.

  32. Yes, I agree with his positions on some moral issues.

But (for me) that is mostly outweighed by what I see as a serious lack of wisdom and discernment — and an out-sized, runaway ego — which is potentially dangerous to the nation.

    Just my take.

  33. And I’m inclined to agree with Victor Hanson I think it was that said we should focus just in China tariffs rather than starting a trade war with every single country. But I think sewing chaos is part of Trump’s method which has worked for him sometimes. But it’s very undesirable in a national leader. And it’s also uncomfortable and even damaging in some circumstances.
