  1. Good morning! Happy Day After Tax Day for most of y’all.

It chilled down so we started in the 40s and the temp should go up to the 70s. Pollen count is back up to high. I confirmed it with my first round of sneezing.

  2. We’ll be with D1 and family Sunday. I don’t know what’s on the menu but ham is our common meal. We’ll be celebrating a birthday of our 5th grandchild. He’ll be 9 on Monday.

  3. They’ll all be here around 3 on Sunday. Stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.

Ham, Aunty Arly’s potatoes, fruit salad, Easter candy, green salad, and I don’t know the rest, yet.

  4. I would prefer ham, but SIL, prefers steak made in some fancy way. This is how it is cooked, not any sauces. I bought a ham, however, for afterwards. That will stock the freezer with lots of leftovers and the bone will be for pea soup. I am not a fan of that, but my husband will love to pull out the individual packages for lunch. We could possibly get ham at the other daughter’s where we will stay before Easter Sunday. The SIL there, cannot stand the brown sugar I put on my ham, so it will be minus that. SILs seem to rule. 😉

  5. Lunch out with my cousin on the water at the marina — but the day before Easter, on Saturday. We’ve not been able to get together in a while like this due to my tiresome work schedule.

  6. Interesting piece on the challenge of sharing the gospel

~ You’ve probably had experiences like this in your own life. You explain the gospel to someone and they just don’t get it. It seems like they can’t get it. You say “grace” and they hear “works.” You say “free” and they hear “earn.” You say “faith” and they hear “toil.” It can be frustrating. It can be discouraging. And it can cause us to wonder if we should change either the medium or the message (or maybe both). ~

  7. Ham here on Sunday. Brother in law is coming to town tomorrow and will be here a couple weeks. Five days of it will be a road trip to Grand Canyon with husband…so love that they are close and have these occasional trips.

Coyotes were out back again last night…🥲Nj

  8. I had fancy Easter dinners (with friends) in Chicago and with my husband’s family when we lived in our previous home, but most of my life, no.

Oh, I see a question just above this directed to me. No, I don’t think I’ve seen that blog, but I’ll check it out.
