  1. Good news. My dad fell at some point in the night. I checked when I heard unusually long coughing. He was lying flat on his back, blanket under his head, but unable to get up. Extremities all worked. We blanketed him up on the bed then called hospice. I sat with him for a few hours, taking turns with husband and son as it is laundry day. While sitting once, I asked him if he was ready to meet God. He said he took care of that when he was a teenager, then started moving body parts until he was ready to ask for help getting up. Now sitting at the table for breakfast. Thanks to any who prayed!

  2. I usually begin our prayer call by reading a passage from the Psalms. I thought beforehand to look up to see if there are any Psalms used especially for Easter. It gave me Psalm 16. It really does focus in on all the benefits we have as believers in Jesus.

  3. Hospice nurse is coming tomorrow. A good thing as dad has lost twenty pounds again, is losing the ability to walk, fell again today and almost collapsed two other times. And has been vomiting. But lucid and communicative. No pain. Prayer for wisdom and peace and the eyes of his heart.
