  1. That was all the comment I was allowed to post by whomever is in control!

We have continued to have storms and rain, and a tornado hit this morning just south of Art’s office. He has clients in the area. I don’t know the extent of it.

I saw a man walking his dog. The dog stopped at my across the street neighbor’s home to do his business. I saw the man pick it up. I gave great praise to the man and told him I am still cleaning up my hiking boots. Yesterday before I hiked I was able to use a stick to get most of what I couldn’t get off before from inside the grooves. I have been leaving the boots in a box by the door and putting them on outside.

  2. Good morning, all. Company has headed off to catch their plane. Very nice company. Grandma was especially wonderful. We have invited her to move in here.

  3. Pretty flowers — spring IS coming, but we’ve had unusually cool weather lingering later in the year. Tomorrow was warm and sunny, but by sunset it was windy and cool again. But that’s a good combination.

1 of 2 interviews finished for today, and I need to carve out time to get to my credit union for the property tax savings clean-out as that bill is due by the 10th, coming up too soon …

Then homeowners’ insurance. Then the income tax bill (though that will hopefully come in with some $ returning to me also).

So many (large) bills this time of year, but once it’s over I can breathe a sigh of relief until late fall/December when property tax rolls around once again.

  4. I don’t think I mentioned that we had fraudulent charges on our credit card, so we had to close it and get a replacement card. There were three different charges to Walmart, two for 50.00 each for some game program and another for 12.00 for green cabbage and some energy type drinks. I saw the green cabbage and thought that I’d never bought a cabbage from Walmart, lol. One of the drinks was abbreviated to Dead Bill which I discovered was Dead Billionaire; pretty funny name, huh?

  5. Yes, I am also using a new card, those folks are busy. I appreciate that the bank catches it.

Working on reading the scholarship applications. This group that I’m beginning with I either know or taught 10 of the 27. Very special to see how God is working in their lives.

Golf course is closed this week so we get to walk it. So my walk was much longer today. The whole course is over 5 miles, but I did at least a couple of miles. Boy are my eyes itchy.

Now I have to text folks to remind them what they signed up for for the memorial service this Saturday. My first one of me being in charge and the largest as our beloved mother of our pastor. One of the founding families of the church.
