  1. Prayer for husband as he is entering a time of deeper stress. The estranged children visiting, the bio mom and grandma visiting, the sausage feed for VFW ( he is the quartermaster so gathering ingredients and prepping) plus the son memorial on Saturday which he is coordinating.

  2. Praying, mumsee.

Friend is overwhelmed, they had to call 911 Sunday when her husband fell for a 3rd time and she and her brother could not get him off the floor; he’s been in the hospital where they’ve given him a CT scan/bloodwork (negative) and now an MRI … they’ve determined he cannot walk, so he’s being sent today to a skilled nursing place while they do more testing. … These symptoms only began Feb. 23 and have rapidly gone downhill since.

A rapid form of dementia has not been ruled out — I believe they’ve pretty much ruled out Parkinson’s.

Meanwhile, my friend is trying to figure out finances, taxes, getting access to their inheritance as this is all going to cost probably way more than they have or what insurance will cover. She’s talking about having to maybe sell the house … 😦 Prayers for clarity, guidance. Long-term care is very expensive.

  4. Thank you for the prayers.

Not sure about UTI checks, but would guess since he’s been hospitalized now for a couple days — he’s being transferred to a care facility this afternoon — that would have been noticed.

This is all very extreme, mental and physical, a complete crash; maybe there will be more clues in the MRI, results are to be shared with the family today.
