  1. I went to public school for a few years, then a Catholic school and back to public. My first year in public was not the best for math. I was quite lost in algebra. Math has never been my strong suit. I did like school no matter which type it was.

  2. Morning! We had beautiful sunrise and sunset moments last week. This week we get wind and snow!

Schooling is not a one size fits all in my estimation. That is a reason we explored different choices for each of our children. When I attempted to join in on homeschooling I thought I’d lose my ever loving mind! Casting out nines was not for the math challenged “teacher mom”!!! 😳Nj

  3. Good morning! Beautiful photo to start the day off♡

I was totally on the public school route for all my education through to college degree, except for private kindergarden. I loved the learning and some of the friends, but other parts seemed very hurtful and damaging to me.

Now that I know the difference a Christian Collage/University can make, I would never advise people to go another route at that level, but there are few who would choose the lesser name brand Christian college experience. When Wes chose Covenant, no one had had ever heard of it, unless they’d driven by it on Scenic Highway on top of Lookout Mountain. But, ,wow! The trajectory it has been for son.

  4. good morning, all. A beautiful rainy day here. Husband is off and running.

I went to public school and enjoyed it. My focus was Scouts and tennis. I would not say I learned anything after about fourth grade but had gained the ability to read and do math and incorporate common sense so that got me through with pretty good grades. Then one semester plus of college where that was no longer an option. Especially the common sense part. So I gave up my college tennis career and went to work, sort of, until God put husband and I together.

  5. Mumsee, you must have been a really good tennis player. Did you continue to play later? Atlanta has a big ALTA presence so tennis is big here. Was even bigger before pickles all. My Bible study leader is very involved with it, and her dad is an instructor in another state.

rKessler, love the channeling of chas 🙂 I did finally get all my income tax info over to the guy who files them electronically, he messaged back it was all received. That’s one thing I can cross off my full list for March-April.

  7. Janice, I was a very good tennis player for my area. Big fish, little pond. Through high school, I was number one girls, number one mixed doubles, number one girls doubles. In college, number two or three singles and one or two doubles. Partner and I took second in the northwest women’s collegiate tennis tournament in Oregon. But against my California cousins I was a nobody. I had innate ability but no drive to win. Kind of like my academics.

Since then I have played a little here and there but not really. Children took priority.

  8. I finally got to take the car to the car wash! I pulled it into the driveway from the carport, and it received a good rain shower. Art had called to say his area was in a tornado warning. The storm quickly passed, thankfully, and left my navy car looking shiny instead of like covered in powdered mustard.
