    Also lifting Isaac and all of AJ’s family. The flu weeks can cause a lot of down time and pressures of how to catch up afterwards. I am still working on that myself.

  4. Grief is multiplied as we also grieve for those grieving. As a parent you grieve for your child/children who are grieving. As a grandparent you grieve for two generations also grieving. Praising God that he not only gives us comfort, but he brings us comfort from those he has comforted. Praying for many comforters and an even closer relationship with him.

    I have covid. Husband called an ambulance to cart me off to the hospital yesterday morning (I was too weak to stop him). I’m back home now but out of work for awhile which is the worst part of it, though the covid isn’t exactly fun. Strangely, I have often found that the slowed down pace that illness requires brings a ‘side effect’ of spiritual benefits if I look for them. I’m looking. Prayers appreciated.

  7. And prayer for son. This is the day they remove organs from sixth son. Will this day be more difficult on eighth son than looking at his dead brother, chest rising and falling, beard growing? It has to be tough for him. He has been reliant on his older brother for emotional support for the past twenty years.

  11. I agree, Debra, that the forced down time of illness can be a time of spiritual connection at another dimension than one is allowed in routine daily life. It can be time used wisely focused on God or it can be like wasted time spent in worry and pity for oneself.

  13. Sorry you have gotten Covid, Debra. Prayers for you and mumsee’s son. I spoke to a man at church today who just had a brother die in a fishing accident. This was his closest brother in age, and he was clearly grieving much. He has another brother states away in ICU. That brother wants to come back to his home area but can no longer make the trip. We don’t think of those things when we are young and, perhaps, think we don’t need family. I am glad your son was able to go be with his brother, as difficult as it is for him. May the God of comfort give him that and peace beyond understanding.

  15. Praying with you all for these concerns. Life can be hard on us at times, and leave us with loss, grief, and hurting hearts. So we must lift one another, especially in those times. That’s what I love about the Wanderers, ya’ll always do.
