Chad Bird is on a roll this morning with Moses and Pharoah. Pithy, pointed, and his remarks, IMHO, also describe the current state of too many churches.
Interesting concept, thoughtful read, and yes, I’ve thought along these lines, myself.
I’ve thought about this subject every time I get my teeth cleaned. I’m wealthier than King Tut (who didn’t even have cups made out of glass)–because of modern life. (Though, he may have had people clean his teeth!)
The day has turned out pleasant at 54° and sunny. I did Bible study group from home, mostly on mute, since I am still clearing some gunk out from the flu/cold. I did recite my Bible verse before going mute.
2 Corinthians 5:21 “He made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that, in Him, we might become the righteousness of God.”
Such a great verse. It was the leading verse on the first page of this sessions study.
I was glad in one sense to not be at the study since someone brought sweets to share. I wish they wouldn’t do that. It is always so hard to resist.
Janice y’all have had quite the dose of frigid temps for a southern state. We were in the land of Narnia this morning. Frosted trees and 10 degrees. Beautiful but cold!!🥶
NJ, your forested area with snow sounds so lovely to gaze upon. You also get some cool wildlife. I love hearing about it from a distance. I would not enjoy having to be out and about in it. I do have a few childhood memories of having fun in the snow, but it was so rare that it never felt like it was real if that makes sense. I know we never learned to enjoy it like those who dealt with it regularily.

We are expecting another blast of cold, cold weather so we will be back to dripping faucets. For now we can enjoy this sweet spring like weather.

A great story about high school seniors building tiny homes in Western NC.
