  1. Happy Tuesday! Time to smell the coffee or tea and prepare to have a good day.

Our temp is 34°, and the sun is shining so I expect a nice warmish day.

Bible study ladies meet today. My memory verse to share, Roman’s 12:14:

“Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see God.”

Learning to live it out, mistake by mistake (or, sin by sin).

  2. I think dj would agree that small town news needs better writers. This is from a local TV story about street improvements:

The project will be using a million dollars from the state’s Motor Fuel Tax funds and will not include any taxpayer money.

Evidently the young reporter wasn’t taught to think logically.

  3. Good morning, all, a beautiful twelve degrees this morning. Children are out doing chores but dad will be taking a nap before his walk, it may warm up a bit.

  4. Peter – From concerns in my own town about various projects, I would assume that the writer meant that no town taxes would be used, although state taxes would.

Every now and then on our local Facebook pages, a complaint will be made about a project that has been started (often a road project) while the town doesn’t have enough money for a seemingly more important project that needs doing. Eventually, someone will come along and explain that the project is being done with state funds, not town funds.

  6. Fun muppets, thanks for sharing.

I ordered a new pillow. It is contoured to fit your neck.

I was having problems in PNG and a friend loaned me one of these for a year. I’ve bought several pillows since I returned, but none were like hers. So I found it and ordered. I have already used it for a year so I know that it helps.

I also just got a pillowcase, I’m tired of all the ones that don’t fit my pillow. I am tempted to get the knee pillow. That was the first thing that they told me to do when I went to PT.

Oh I also got my new blinds for my bay window today. So nice, they are honeycomb and really insulate well.
