Good Monday morning! I am rejoicing and feel glad! The good kind of ICE came to Atlanta overnight! Waiting to hear the results.
Also, we are waiting to see if our garbage will be collected today. They never got it last week (snow and ice), but since it has been cold it did not create a stink. Thankful for the deep freeze when everyone’s garbage was on the street♡ Sweet!
Good morning, awaiting the return of the King, but if He does not show up, husband should arrive this afternoon after his treatment and that will also be good. Sometimes it does not infuse well and he has to stay another day to get over it.
We had much needed rain this weekend, and even some thunder overnight. But seemingly (I’m still catching up) no serious mud or slide issues in the burn areas.
I had a port news conference first thing this morning to cover, large contraband scheme busted, charges filed, most arrested, but the ‘mastermind’ is still a fugitive in China.
Beautiful morning out at the waterfront, though, sun is shining (still cloudy to the north), temperatures brisk.
My dad waited until the temperature rose to sixteen before venturing out on the deck today. He must be getting sensitive to cold as he nears ninety five next month.
attempting to build a roost in the new chicken house. Can’t find the hardware I bought for the project. Frustrating. First day above 30s in a couple of weeks. Attempting to be productive.
Went out again to enjoy the sunshine at about thirty two degrees and ended up sitting out there for an hour and a half, enjoying the sunshine and trees and view of the mountains and cats. Came inside for a bowl of ice cream.
Welcome to Monday. To those who dread Mondays, thin of this: There has to be some day that begins the work week. So if not Monday, which day?
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

We have rain and drizzle at 46°; seems right for January in these parts. Art had PT at 7 am, came home and had breakfast and headed to the office.

Well we Southern Californians are kind of shivering in this brisk 40-50ish degree temperatures.
It is beautiful outside though. Sunny.
Gardeners are here doing their thing – I just filed my daily story, waiting for editor feedback/questions if any.

I looked outside to watch the guy across the street working on his vintage corvette.
I’m having either soup or chili tonight.
