Dj, I got info from a book by a functional doc who does not like MRIs because they leave some heavy metal in the body from the contrast solution. She has a protocol of taking two forms of zinc for five days starting the day before the MRI to help rid the body of the heavy metal. If interested, I can tell you what I used.
I go to Cleveland Clinic every year for a heart checkup, with an echocardiogram, an electrocardiogram, and lab tests, and then a “big test” that’s different each year on a three year cycle. MRI years are definitely my least favorite. I’m too fidgety.
The last one was 2023, next will be 2026, assuming all remains stable.
Praising God for my good MRI report today.

Janice, wonderful, praise indeed. I’m heading in for an MRI myself in the near future, they can be disconcerting.
