“Lisa Monaco was Robert Mueller’s chief of staff when he ran the FBI. She was one of Obama’s closest aides—she participated in secret Situation Room meetings with John Brennan in 2016 to concoct Russia collusion hoax.

After Trump won, she became an outspoken critic of Donald TrumpDuring her Senate confirmation hearing—she was confirmed by 48 GOP senators with Paul and Cruz opposing—she did not face a single question about Russia collusion hoax.

Then @JohnCornyn took to the floor to give his full throated glowing endorsement for her nomination as deputy AG.

She immediately opened an investigation into Trump for Jan 6 and later worked with NARA officials to fabricate a documents case.

Wonder if Cornyn still has 😍 for her?”

“Any Republican Senator seeking the coveted LEADERSHIP position in the United States Senate must agree to Recess Appointments (in the Senate!), without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner. Sometimes the votes can take two years, or more. This is what they did four years ago, and we cannot let it happen again. We need positions filled IMMEDIATELY! Additionally, no Judges should be approved during this period of time because the Democrats are looking to ram through their Judges as the Republicans fight over Leadership. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THANK YOU”

  3. I suppose now is as good a time as any to post this from Senator Kennedy… I love this guy!!

Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana appeared on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” to discuss the message that voters sent to Washington “experts” in last Tuesday’s election. He explained that despite what the so-called experts say, the message was simple: “Republicans aren’t perfect, but the other side is crazy.”

“Trump’s top contender for head of the CIA, Kash Patel:

-Wants to implement a 24/7 declassification office releasing files about JFK and 9/11.

-On day one, he wants to bring out Jeffrey Epstein’s black book of names that were being blackmailed.

-He wants to bring out all the Russia Gate files that are hidden and expose the truth about the January 6th pipe bomber.

-He told Steve Bannon he wanted to exact justice and find the conspirators in the government and the media who worked to usurp the will of the people.

-He wants systematic change at the FBI and CIA coming from an awakened American people.”

  5. Despite media and Oprah lying and reporting otherwise, FEC records prove Kamala was paying for celebrity endorsements, including Oprah.

  7. How does anyone take these people seriously. The guy at The Bulwark who wrote this piece was calling Trump voters stupid on election night, and in this piece as well. But it does illustrate the presence of Trump Derangement Syndrome among the insulated classes. Seriously, it should have its own ICD code somewhere between mania and delusional. Maybe some day it will.

“And while Biden’s legislative agenda made life better for working-class people in Republican states, it did absolutely nothing to lower their temperature. Republican voters remained as conspiratorial in their outlook and toxic in their desires as they had been on the morning of January 6, 2021. The only difference is that the Biden administration made them fat and happy, with more jobs and rising wages, so that they could conjure imaginary problems instead of having to deal with real ones.”

  8. Now that she’s been ousted for her misdeeds, she’s spilling the beans.

Once again the things the NYTimes says aren’t happening, clearly are.

This is a disgusting abuse of power, and once again the media lies about it, or won’t even report it.

    They suck.

“The fired FEMA worker is going down fighting and saying it’s agency policy to skip Trump supporter’s homes, she didn’t come up with it on her own. This should be a gigantic story.”

“So, apparently this FEMA “skipping over Trump supporters” story is 100% true and not just this employee’s rogue decision: it’s agency policy. Wow.”

“CNN ‘will ax top stars in layoffs that’ll see hundreds fired’

CNN is reportedly set to fire some of its top talent in a round of post-election layoffs.

The rumblings, first reported by Puck News, come as high-paid personalities like Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer were reportedly recently denied raises. The two already boast salaries of $7million and $3million, while stars like Anderson Cooper take home an annual $20million.

Kaitlan Collins and Erin Burnett also command inflated earnings – $3million and $6million apiece, respectively.

Insiders told Puck the new round of firings will likely see on-air talent like them affected, as the network’s new CEO looks to free up finances amid waning ratings.”

  10. Perhaps someone can explain to me why President Trump is demanding recess appointments, “without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner.” Isn’t the Senate going to be in session for months to confirm his nominations?

    Liked by 1 person

  11. The reason he’s doing so is because Democrats, and McConnell, have a habit of not calling recesses in order to prevent the president from making recess appointments on candidates the Senate intentionally hold up using parliamentary maneuvers.

  12. Here’s why it’s important.

McConnell is not to be trusted.

“Recess Appointment Clause explained below. In the comments I read these little known facts. At least I didn’t know, maybe you did.

Comment 1: McConnell kept the Senate in session the entire 4 years of his 1st term just so President Trump couldn’t recess appoint his choice of appointees.

Comment 2: In August 2017 alone, they held nine pro forma sessions to stop the President from replacing Jeff Sessions.”

“President Trump is about to make one of the best deals he’s ever made with the next Senate Majority Leader.

He’s requiring them to agree to Recess Appointments so that he won’t have to wait months & years for his cabinet picks to get confirmed & working.

The Recess Appointment Clause in Article II, Section 2, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution states that “The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.”

Simply put, the clause allows the president to fill vacancies when the Senate is in recess and unavailable to approve. That realistically means he can put everyone in place before the Senate can spend an eternity approving them.

This isn’t a new thing, by the way. Every President has been allowed to make recess appointments EXCEPT President Trump because the Senate never wanted to go into recess. They used a process called pro forma sessions, which are a workaround that makes it seem like the Senate is in business, but in reality, they’re doing absolutely NOTHING: no votes, no debates, and no legislative business. It is just a tool the Uniparty unfairly used to stop President Trump from using a Constitutional process to create a functioning executive.

If President Trump can strike this deal. The next four years will be glorious FASTER than we can imagine.”

  13. Trump hasn’t been sworn in and he’s already making demands on McConnell. I can see McConnell slowing everything down just to annoy Trump. Demanding purity and obedience doesn’t always make friends. If I had cable tv and an attention span I’d buy popcorn.

The in-fighting and leadership fights started even before the victory lap was done. And the victory lap should have been muted. The House has yet to officially won – it’s 213 to 205. Although the Republicans won the Senate, the Dems managed to hold Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona seats despite Trump’s win there. And Casey has yet to concede, with an expected 60-75K votes to count, he can still catch up and is still in recount territory. With about 4 million California votes to go, Trump is slowly slipping in the popular vote now down to 50.3%. Although improbable, he might still lose the popular vote. If the presidency was to be determined by popular vote I doubt Harris would’ve conceded so easily.

My point is simple – with this narrow win, purity of policy and loyalty is probably not an effective way to push an agenda. But by all means, spend the next 18 months fighting internally and demanding retribution and see the house swing the other way.

  15. Thanks for the video, that was a good explanation. If the Senate does its job properly then recess appointments wouldn’t be necessary. It’s loopholes vs loopholes.

    Senate holds up nominations

President uses recess appointments to get around Senate holdups

Senate technically never recesses to prevent recess appointments

    Wishing everyone just behaved themselves…
