May those who are deserving enjoy the free meals offered today to those who served! Many blessings and thanks for willingness to give life, limb, and other benefits of living that the general population takes for granted so we could live in freedom all these years.
It’s Monday (again). That seems to happen every 7 days, I’ve figured out.
Janice, I’d love to someday get one of those PT tables that go up and down, how convenient are those? Unfortunately they are likely expensive and would take up way too much room in my somewhat small house.
Oh, and then you also have to committed and disciplined enough to use them. 🙂
Dj, I saw a board that you can get for PT on the bed. It looked very practical, no extra floor space required like for a table.
Our daily Bible reading is our daily nourishment which sustains us through all of life’s ups and downs. I feel sad for those who do not have it as a resource at this time. A friend said some ladys are going to wailing rooms since the election.
Janice, thanks, I hadn’t heard about the “boards,” that’s helpful to know.
Wish I could get back to PT, but there’s nothing urgent (although my knee surgeon — when he saw me for the other that only has a small tear in the meniscus — did give me a referral; not super necessary, but in a perfect world I think it would help.
We’re working today but no one else is, though I did manage to get a phone interview set up with someone from the Retail Federation back east. Both ports are closed though.
A Christian radio station asked for shout outs to Veterans today. I found this comment interesting: “if it were not for the Canadian military, I would not be here. My Father was rescued in Amsterdam by men who gave their lives for the Dutch. Thank you from the depths of my heart.”
Thank you to all the veterans! (And the spouses who were also affected by their service.)

Art had a very thorough and productive PT evaluation. He was given exercises to do at his desk at work and a few in the bed.

Kind of like you have to actually read the Bible you own to get the benefits.

All my neighbors and I forgot about the holiday and put our garbage bins on the street.

Yeah, I never got Veterans’ Day off for any job I ever worked.

Most people who get Veterans’ Day off are in government or financial services.
Our trash hauler only takes Christmas and Thanksgiving off. They even collect on July 4th! It’s a family business, not a municipal service.
