I am thankful today that my sister had almost no damage from the hurricane. She is thankful for the 8 inches of water they got over several days, since they were in drought. We have other relatives that are also okay.
How puny man seems in the face of such storms. It is a reminder of how much we need the One who Stills Storms.
So thankful for that Kathaleena. Son is in cleanup mode and still without power, but safe. Information is not complete as he has to conserve battery power. I’m so grateful for God’s mercy. Still waiting to hear from cousin closer to the coast.
I mat try to call my cousin in Chiefland, FL to see how they are. Not sure how close it hit there. Cousins in Titusville are okay. Former pastor at St. Augustine reported safe.
Good to hear, Kathaleena. Sounds like it all could have been worse, but I’m sure the damage was bad enough as it was, especially coming right on the heels of the earlier storm.
Praying for the others mentioned here – and that power can be restored quickly.
My sister Susan marked herself safe in Florida on Facebook. No power though.
Feeling somewhat better today.
Kathleena,
I will do a different prep this time, one that involves taking a daily dose of Miralax for several days leading up to the procedure, and then a larger dose the night before. I hope it works as we’re up against the clock with the reversal surgery already scheduled. I’ve called the scheduler twice since yesterday, still no call back. The new “you can’t talk directly to the office, only central scheduling” sucks big time.
My dog-walk8ng friend has a friend who has had the same type messed up prep yesterday. She is in the hospital trying to get some scopy done based on surgery from some years ago.
It must be very common that people have trouble with the prep.
