We were out of power for five hours. Thankful it is back on now and WiFi is back.
We are not right beside a creek or flood plain so we are okay. Others not far from us have needed to be rescued from flooded areas. I heard of one family rescued, a husband, wife, baby, and two dogs, from atop their floating car.
It was not so bad here as I expected. I just heard the storm veered to the east so we did not get hit as hard as they prepared us for.
Feeling sorry for Valdosta Hospital where a tree came down on their generator!
Wondering what Art will find at the office. It was already leaking when he left.
News reported eleven fatalities which sounded like in GA. One was a first responder.
Glad you’re all safe and “powered up” again, Janice, that was a serious storm. So sorry for those more in harm’s way last night. A hospital losing a generator sounds serious 😦
Hello Friday! I see the squirrel is still present. He’s storing up his food supply for winter or the coming shortages caused by Bidenomics.

I suppose Janice is getting ready for a visit from Helene. I don’t think it’ll be a friendly visit. Stay safe!
It makes me wonder how Kim is doing these days? Has anyone heard from her lately?

Good morning, all.
Janice reports they are fine but without power or WiFi so not sure when she will join us.
Here it is blue sky and a comfortable forty seven out.

Janice, I can’t remember – when was that hospital move supposed to happen? Did the storm affect the schedule?
