I did the thing you, DJ, suggested and left the cat carrier out for about a week before today’s appointment. I chose to daily put her food in the carrier. This morning I slid a serving of chicken to the back of the carrier and she was involved with that white I quietly shut the door. Easy Peasy! I did give her the anti-anxiety med last night and this a.m.
We loved the new Cat Whisperer vet. He handled her so gently and affectionately so she kept calm. They fed a special treat while he gave her shots so she did not notice the shots at all. It went so quickly. And the office is about7 minutes from home. We could not be more pleased.
Good to hear, Janice – now I’m trying get Abby to come out from behind the plumbago bush where she sometimes now likes to hide when I’m calling her to “come.”
Still love this clip from son’s school where they honor 9/11 victims by walking the stadium stairs symbolically as the victims and survivors walked the tower stairs.
Jo, if you see this, my pastor tonight mentioned spending time in PNG about 30 years ago with a tribe that had their own Creation story. The gospel was shared with them orally and they used their daily lessons to create Biblically correct songs so they could remember what they learned.
