Pray for my neighbor’s son, Michael, who just returned home after a 2-year, court-ordered stint in jail and then at a rehab center in the mountains.
He has been doing well, clean and sober, he has a sponsor keeping close watch on him (I hope he lives locally), and he’s getting a free ride at a chef school, courtesy of the state. (Not sure if he’s already completed that or will be going now.) I’ also don’t know if he has a job lined up but I would hope that happens soon.
But he’s again living in the garage next door and yesterday he was playing his rock music all day long, which sounded a little too much like his “old pattern” to me (from afar).
A lady who goes to my church is due to have her baby in two weeks, has a toddler. . .and just broke her ankle, which she is now supposed to stay off of. Please pray for a quicker-than-usual healing of that break, relief from pain, that the baby will not come any earlier than expected, and the toddler won’t get into any trouble. And whatever else comes to mind. Thank you.
