This is very sad but also inspiring news. A young missionary couple and another church worker were killed in Haiti where they were serving God. It’s sad that they were killed so young. But at the same time it’s so inspiring to know that young people like this 21 and 23 year old couple are willing to put their lives on the line to answer the call to service.
Our church has had a short-term mission arrangement in Haiti where a number of our young people serve each year; but with the dangers now I suspect arrangements may change amid the upheavals. I believe we do have regular missionaries living there, I’ll have to check on that.
